This is Summer

I just uploaded to my webpage a photoshoot JP and I made a couple of months ago.
We had this high-key style concept idea, inspired by the early days of summer.
I was listening to one song over and over again those days.
"Wine in the Afternoon", by Franz Ferdinand.
The whole idea of passing time on the bed, just relaxing, or playing, and having fun... The sun entering the room through the window, everything around turning white, and luminous... The skin turning brighter with the light rays, and the whole day ahead, like we got nothing more important to do...
I loved shooting this pictures. Something really awesome happened between the model and me. We were both learning something about our careers. We both gave all we had that day, and on the next day, we did another photoshoot together. She was really inspired, like she wanted to prove to me she had listened to what I said the day before about what I was looking for. It was hard at first, but I felt really honored and respected by her, as a photographer.
I've learned how to push somebody to give his best, and that is very valuable in this buisness.

"Wine in the Afternoon" de  Franz Ferdinand.
