When U2 came to La Plata for their 360º tour, my boyfriend and I, went to the city a day before our tickets, to be there on time and be able to see MUSE live. (They were supporting U2).
We slept in the car, and had dinner on service stations and it was a tour-kind-of-life during a weekend. We also slept on the side of the road in the middle of our way back, because it was really late at night and too many cars were going on the same direction: home. The concert was amazing. MUSE sounded incredible and there are no words to describe U2's show. I think the best moment was the first song, "A Beautiful Day", the very moment we realized that that show was not gonna be like something we had seen before. It was different from everything ever done. The songs wrapped us in loud music and lights everywhere around us. It was beautiful. It was a beautiful day.

The night before, we had listened to the whole concert from outside the stadium, so we were pretty excited about it. It actually sounded great! We couldn't wait to be in there, living everything from the inside.
It was an unbelievable experience. Everybody in La Plata was very nice. It's a gorgeous city, everybody should visit it sometime... The sun was shining on Saturday, but it rained all Sunday. I took a millon pictures of the wet streets from the car. I just couldn't stop.

Cuando U2 vino a La Plata para su gira "360º", mi novio y yo fuimos a la ciudad un día antes de la fecha de nuestras entradas, para poder llegar a tiempo y ver a Muse en vivo (que tocaba bastante temprano). Dormimos en el auto, y cenamos en estaciones de servicio. Vivimos una vida de gira por un fin de semana. También dormimos al lado de la ruta, en medio de nuestro viaje de vuelta, porque era muy tarde a la noche y había demasiados autos en la misma dirección: a casa.
El recital fue increíble. Muse sonó genial, y no hay palabras para describir el show que dió U2. Creo que el mejor momento fue la primera canción "A Beautiful Day". El momento en que nos dimos cuenta de que no sería parecido a nada que hayamos visto antes. Nunca ví nada igual. Las canciones nos envolvía en música a todo volumen y luces por todas partes a nuestro alrededor. Fue hermoso. Fue un día hermoso.
La noche anterior habíamos escuchado todo el show desde afuera del estadio. Se escuchaba perfecto! No podíamos esperar a estar ahí adentro y vivir todo desde el interior.
Fue una experiencia increíble. La gente en La Plata fue super agradable y amable. La ciudad es preciosa, todos deberían visitarla alguna vez. Estaba soleado el sábado, pero llovió todo el domingo. Saqué un millón de fotos a las calles mojadas desde el auto. No podía parar.

La 1ª foto es digna de una portada de un buen disco de Dylan, Springsteen, o algun grupo indierock que sólo haya sacado un EP, estilo los Drums o algo así, de verdad, me encantó! :)
Son realmente buenas tus fotos, las de la lluvia y dentro del coche tu novio conduciendo me gustan mucho también. Y en la última en blanco y negro, no sé por qué, me recuerdas a Charlotte Gainsbourg (L)
